Comments: Many fond memories if spotting at the airport. I remember coming on the train when I was only 12 yrs old. 19.5 pence each way from Redcar. Anyone remember the electric milk float/bus that gave you a lift from the railway station. I can remember walking towards the terminal past the Teesside flying schools. No fence or anything.

Comments: Love this site, spotted for many years at EGNV. Now ATC at Swanwick Centre. Would love to see the good old days back here. I agree, we need a LHR service again. Keep up the good work. Loved seeing the TAEG pages...happy memories. Rgds Iain Steel

Comments: I love the airport however, we have GOT to get back the London connection wether its heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted etc I used to use it twice a week (business / work) this route would be vital to the airport growth. I also like the sound of the air show, that would attract people and remind them that we have a local airport with routes that can connect you to the world (amsterdam) and that it is there to be used to its full capacity!
