Hi All
Two open days in Serbia was enough to get another trip on the go so last Tuesday
I set off for Phil's place and then down to Luton for out flight to Belgrade.
The flight is a newish one and is operated by Wizzair, Iam a big fan of the
airline as they do a large number of routs we can and do use as often as
possible and are better than other "Low Cost" carriers.
The first noted things were going past East Midlands

first call. We had visited the museum in 2009 and it should not have changed
much BUT i don't know 100% if this is the case. It is a task and a half to check
everything here but it's well worth a visit if you want some number in the book.
This museum log is from our 2009 visit here

On we went picking up T-33's everywhere the third in the row was at
Brajkovac 18-05-2011
(10010) T-33
The country roads in Serbia are not something you use to get from point A to
point B on quickly so that was it for the day we made our way into Nis and met
up with a guy we knew was out there.
Day - 2
The Serbian AF were having open days and this is the reason we went out BUT the
date for Nis had been changed and when we turned up at the gate we were told we
should have got an e-mail informing us of the change. We had no idea of the date
change and asked if we could come in anyway for 30 min's to take some pics of
the aircraft ?. After about and hour the base CO sent a car down to pick us up
from the main gate and show us a limited number of aircraft and have a Coffee
with him and his No-2. All i could say "What a Winner !!".

Back in January when we went to Timisosra in Romania to over fly the MiG-23's at
the airport we could not see the two IAR-93's in the town and only been 60km it
was now or never. Crossing the border between Serbia (None EU) and Romania (In
the EU) went without a hitch but comming back we felt like the "Thumb Screws"
would come out and be used on us it took ages to get back in to Serbia with the
guy at the crossing looking a tthe car's paper work etc.

Navigating round the town with out a map and only using what i knew in my head
