Rufforth
The main reason for the trip out was to go to an exhibition of the new Calidus
autogyro. The guys in the autogyro centre were great allowing access to their
hangar and flight line for photographs and close inspections of the gyrocopters.
The café was quite good but the gents from the microlight centre guarded their
hangar as if it was the Boeing skunk works! Opening and closing the doors very
time an aircraft landed or departed.
Over at the gliding club access is slightly restricted Mc Cleans was locked up
as the owner was out flying his Ce 182 a guided tour of the glider hangars was
given but access to the centre of the field hangar was not allowed.

Bagby
Things are looking a little scruffy at Bagby and the number of residents seems
to be declining. Casual access to the South side of the airfield is now not
allowed, possibly only with an escort.
