Well a few more "Tiffys" in the bag and 28 noted on base the next problem was
which way home ?, The answer was via a few ex NVA machines we needed to catch up
with starting at Cottbus museum. The MiG-23 we needed was an ex Peenemunde
machine that was stored on the airfield in a HAS for quite some time before
moving the the Cottbus museum

Back on the Autobahn and heading back up North to the Berlin area for another
MiG-21 we missed on a trip in April last year, Mike Law Lawson doing his home
work had looked at the range on Google Earth and found GE had been up dated and
the missing MiG-21 was now no longer lost so we followed his foot steps and
found the MiG with the G-91 and recently arrived Atlantic

started off with a Mi-2
Schweinfurt 30-09-2011
We found the Mig-23 last year in the town but the Mi-2 was in a workshop at the
Classic Aircraft Club and we could only see the top part of it through the
frosted windows so a return visit to get it was made as we knew it was outside
just after been painted at East German Police
