Well I think the header says it all a Nigerian AF C-130 in
the UK, This I had to go see. An early start at 5 am to go over to York to pick
Andy S up at 6 and then it was down the A1, The first things we saw were the
usual bits starting with the Lightning at Balderton. On the trip we decided to
do a little tidying up en-route as there are a few things around I have been
wanting to see at Parachute clubs so Andy and my self took the opportunity of
putting these away. Andy takes everything he sees so here is the full log for
the day

This was also noted on another list last week as a MiG-21 !! but it still looked
like a Lightning to me even though we passed it a approx 70 mph

is a big problem now to see on the VAS ramp

The way home is always a problem as there is not a lot to do so you can go back
to Cambridge and up the A1 or cut across country on go up through Lincolnshire,
We did the cross country run and went up through Lincolnshire so the next stop
was a small but very nice museum Andy had not visited before

There are lots of artefacts from local crash sites going back to WW2 on display
and at only £2-40 to get in well worth and hour or so. The next call was
Fennland in the hope it the airstrip was active with it been bank holiday Monday
but it was all locked up and only a few bits outside were logged
