UK Road trip 23 - 26 November 2008 - Chris

I had to attend a 3 day course at my companies
offices in Nottingham last week so thought I would have a bit of a road trip
before, during and after the course. Setting off from Cleveland around 0845 on
Sun 23rd my first call was Gamston which is such a short detour off the A1 it
would be daft not to have a quick look.

Back onto the A1 and M11 I arrived at Stansted at
1315. I had a quick look in the usual biz/visitor parking areas before driving
down the road parallel to the runway where I parked up and walked through the
trees to see what would turn up. Star visitor was the Mali registered B707.

Last call of the day was to be Luton where I
arrived after dark. Parking by the Britannia Social Club I visited all the
usual vantage points and ended up with a pretty decent log. I thought I had
made a 5N regd Gulf untill I realised it was long time resident 5N-AGV bearing
a new reg.
