We had waited for a weekend of nice weather to go hunting for Ryanair and Easy A319's, eventually it arrived and we set off early at 6am heading for Stansted. We called at Gamston but at 7.30am the gates were shut so we drove across the runway end and looked across, the only thing of note was Beech C90 M-OTOR. We carried on down the A1 and arrived at 9.15am, and headed for the old terminal side first. Ian Ellington was in the Terminal having arrived on the EZY flight from Newcastle on his way to Milan and rang to wet our appetite saying the Brunei Govt 767 was parked up, a good start!!

We spent the rest of the morning on the spotters patch alongside the runway, a very good spot for logging but out of the question for photo's in the morning due to the sun, anyway on with the log -

It was then across country to Luton, arriving at 1.15pm. We headed for the new Harrods ramp near cargo then worked round the various parking areas. We parked in the Hotel car park and crossed the road towards the Fire Station, good afternoon shots can be had here as the taxiway is very close. Not all aircraft pass here though as there is another route past the new Terminal but you can get all regs before they turn.
