09 Jan 79 F-GATG VFW-Fokker 614 Air Alsace Made its second visit on 9 January 79 when it arrived from Paris Orly, it was broken up at Bremen in 1980.	16 Jan 79 G-WIND Boeing 707-323C Tradewinds Airways Moved through a number of airlines it is still current? with Interflight Airlines as 3D-ALJ. 23 Jan 79 PH-MBG McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 Martinair Delivered to them in Nov 73 it remained with them until Oct 88, it has had a number of operators since then but now flies today as OB-1749 with Cielos Cargo, we saw it at Miami in Feb 07. I saw PH-MBG at Teesside on 23 Jan 1979, when this shot was taken then it visited f/t Amsterdam during the lorry drivers strike, departing just after midnight.	23 Jan 79 PH-MBG McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 Martinair No definite date on this one but we assume it was taken at the same time as the shot to the left.	03 Feb 79 G-AYFA Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer 3 First delivered in August 58 as XM285, it became G-AYFA in Jun 70, it's nose section is preserved at Mold, Flintshire. I saw it at Teesside on 03 Feb 79, when this shot was taken following its journey from Staverton, it stayed overnight and left for East Midlands the next day.	15 Feb 79 PH-MOL Fokker F-28-1000 Fellowship Air Anglia Was first delivered in 1969 and has been leased to a number of airlines in its life it is currently stored at Bamaku, Mali as TZ-ASH of Air Mali. PH-MOL of Air Anglia was a Newcastle diversion (due snow) with AQ531 Paris Orly - Aberdeen at lunchtime 15 Feb 1979. The same flight diverted in 19 March 79 and 10 April 79 and the a/c also appeared on training details in 1978 and January 79.

17 Apr 79 A4O-BG Boeing 737-2P6 Britannia Airways Carried this reg a number of times between Sep 77 and July 93, I saw it at Teesside 19/04/79. It was last noted as N359MT and broken up at Goodyear, AZ. While on lease to Britannia for a year it appeared at Teesside on a couple of trooping charters in April 1979. Its first visit on the 17th f/t Osnabruck, the second Luton to Osnabruck on the 19th.	01 Jun 79 PH-ILT Dassault Falcon 10 Philips Last known being used for spares at Oklahoma City as N333FJ in 2011. It routed London Heathrow - Eindhoven.	03 Jul 79 VH-CDV GAF Nomad N24A Sold to Hughes Aircraft in 1979 as N4807W, then became F-OGVD last noted in a scrap yard nr Atlanta, GA.	11 Aug 79 XV488/R McDonnell Douglas F-4M Phantom FGR2 Royal Air Force - 228 OCU

11 Aug 79 XV488/R McDonnell Douglas F-4M Phantom FGR2 Royal Air Force - 228 OCU	27 Aug 79 HB-IEN Canadair CL-44-D4 Yukon Transvalair Serving later with a number of operators it crashed on take off from Mbuji 17 Feb 02 as 9Q-CTS. It made three visits connected to Rothmans Aerobatic (Pitts aircraft) teams Middle East tour - 27 August 79, 01 December 79 and 03 January 80.	27 Aug 79 HB-IEN Canadair CL-44-D4 Yukon Transvalair Serving later with a number of operators it crashed on take off from Mbuji 17 Feb 02 as 9Q-CTS. 06 Sep 79 A7-AAB Boeing 727-2P1 State of Qatar Here doing some crew training, its only visit to Teesside. Operates out of Lasham today as VP-CZY.	08 Sep 79 XR810/810 Vickers VC10 C1K Royal Air Force - 10 Squadron Along with XR808 & XV106.	Sep 79 G-ANCF Bristol 175 Britannia 305F Invicta Airlines Flew as this between March 64 and Jan 76, it became 5Y-AZP, it reverted to G-ANCF when it was preserved at Kemble, it is now on loan to the Wirral Aviation Society and resides at the Liverpool Airport old site. It called twice in September 1979 - on the 6th outbound from Manston to Zurich and on the 18th inbound from Zurich to Manston, both in the late afternoon. To my knowledge its only other visit to Teesside was 10 years earlier on a training detail 05 January 1969 as a Monarch aircraft.	Dec 79 G-CSZA Vickers Viscount 807 Southern International It remained with SI until 1982 when it was broken up at Stansted. It made two visits in December 79 for Dan-Air (f/t Rotterdam on the 21st and Rotterdam / Gatwick on the 22nd).

1979? G-AVRM Boeing 737-204 Britannia Airways Left the fleet in 1986 going to USA as N312XV with Presidential then a year later on to America West as N198AW, it was damaged beyond repair after over running the runway at Tucson, AZ in 1989.	1979? G-BADR Boeing 737-204 Britannia Airways Stayed with Britannia until 1992 when it was sold to LAN Airlines as CC-CSI then scrapped in 2006.	1979? G-BAUR Fokker F-27-200 Friendship Air UK The aircraft remained with Air UK until 1996 later it was scrapped at Exeter.	1979? G-BDFE Handley-Page HPR-7 Dart Herald 206 British Air Ferries Sold to MMM Aero as 9Q-CAA it was broken up at Kinshasa in 1987.

1979? G-FTTA Piper PA-31-350 Navjo Chieftain Tyne Tees Airways Still flies in Sweden as SE-ILY.	1979? G-JCWW Fokker F-28-4000 Fellowship Air Anglia After moving to France to become F-GDFD it later went to Iran as EP-ASE where it is now preserved at the Tehran Exhibition Centre.	1979? LN-OSJ Sikorsky S-61N Sea King Kelikopter Service A/S Regular visitors from Norway via the North Sea oil fields, this aircraft is now N14CK of Croman Corporation.	1979?
