Mar 78? RP-C101
Lockheed L-100-30 Hercules Philippine Airlines
Delivered in May 1975 it became 4593 with the Air
Force in July 1983, it subsequently crashed into the sea
on 25 Aug 08. I saw the aircraft at Teesside on 02 Mar
78, this may have been when the picture was taken,
though I'm not sure if it made a few visits around the
time. It visited from Cambridge on 02 Mar 78 to collect
outbound cargo for the Far East. Parked up all the next
day it finally left for Istanbul early on the 4th. |
