Photos taken at Tees-Side Airport between 1st January - 31st December 1973. Click on a thumbnail for the full size photo. It arrived from Gander, the images show it snowbound on the ramp before departure the next day! Having a further six operators it was W/O at Kinshasa 14 Apr 00 as TN-235 with the Congolaise Air Force.

Vickers Viscount 708 Alidair

Alidair operated I.T. charter flights to Ostend and Stavanger in summer 1973, likely when this shot was taken. Sold to MMM Aero Service as 9Q-CAH in 1984 and broken up at Ostend in 1988.

A regular visitor for attention by Aerochecks during 1973 and 1974, the aircraft in 1975 used for spares at Stansted before finding its way to the fire dump and burnt. Steve Barnes noted the aircraft along with Comet ST-AAW in the hangar on 16 March 74.
