As we passed we noted a BA "Lump" outside the BA hangars

M.O.D St Athan
The Lynx is hangared and used by 71 Instruction and Repair Squadron as a GI
airframe. It has no boom, however we opened about a dozen belly panels and all
of them had the serial stencilled on

71 Sqn also have the rear ends of some old Hawk FRP fuselages. Noted were the

The airfield is fast becoming a storage Painting and scrapping centre and noted
here were airliners and other items of interest
