Again up early and off to Denny's for breakfast, we had a quick look into Davis Monthan  we had a quick nip into Tucson Airport before heading up to Avra Valley, about 45 minutes up the road on the way to Phoenix. As we approached Avra Valley on Sanders road a small hanger alongside the road contained some crop sprayers and an A.Commander that we had down as N25030 but that's not correct.

Avra Valley has changed since my last visit ten years ago, a new road and fence around the stored aircraft and ATW area with a gate prevents access and photography, with no one around it was looking like a wasted stop until we spotted a car outside an unrelated building, carefully edging to the door with a 5ft high dog not too keen on me being there an old guy came out, after a polite conversation he gave us the keypad number for the gate, the following were logged.

We arrived at Phoenix at 1130am, and headed for the top of car park 4, we spent till 1630pm there, dominated by US Air and Southwest Airlines, this is a very busy airport I counted 21 waiting to depart at one time. Netjets had set up a big marquee and had its own ramp area, they were expecting a lot of movements over the next few days.
