I wasn't expecting another trip to Dublin this
year but another super cheap opportunity came up on Wednesday 18th June. The
trip over was uneventful as was passing through Dublin airport but once out
of the arrivals door things are very different from my visit in January.
What was a straight road to the end of the
runway turn right, walk past the end of the runway, turn right and your at
the mound of what looks like fly tipped building rubbish which is quite good
but the fence gets in the bottom of most of your shots.
I survived here until about 12.30 when light
rain forced me into a bush! After a few more hours diving out of the bush
for photographs I decided to abandon ship and flag a taxi down to get back
to the terminal, that only cost six euros. Next spot to spot from was of
course the bar a nice window seat with a pint and the binoculars.
I eventually moved onto the nice new departure
lounge until my flight back.
