The Wings Bar - Cleveland Flying School

The Wings bar inside the Cleveland Flying School has been taken over by new owners, Carl who now runs it is keen to develop the business and the bar is now open to all. Anyone visiting to spot or watch aircraft can do so and will be made welcome. The the beer garden can be used to sit outside during fine weather, there are views over the eastern side of the airport and the runway from there and also from inside. It would be courteous to buy the odd drink and the food is very reasonably priced ( a very nice 3 course Sunday lunch for £7). - Directions head to Spot 4 (outside Hangar 3 East) there is car parking available, go into the flying school and turn right into the bar area.

The social night on 15th April went really well attended by over 20 of us, Carl has offered us the use of the facility free of charge at anytime - your views through the forum if you think the social nights are a good idea and how frequent you would want them.
