Notes and details on residents that have moved on to pastures new

NOTE 1 - Cobham Aviation Services Division officially have 6x Dassault Falcon 20's and Cobham Flight Inspection have 3x Beech 200's based here, aircraft are often away on exercise or deployed elsewhere, the aircraft listed are the ones currently flying from here.

NOTE 2 - C150 G-BPOS is no longer a resident but visits from time to time. It has been seen with a new paint scheme (Aug 08).

NOTE 3 - P28A G-BPKM was on loan to CFS and has now returned to its owner. It has been seen with a new paint scheme (Sep 08).

NOTE 5 - DA40 G-WBVS has moved out to Newcastle.

NOTE 6 - PA44 G-CFSA left on 04/09/08, was owned by Northern Aviation & was to be Fishburn based & a regular visitor, not sure what's happening now Northern have ceased trading?

NOTE 7 - BE20 G-OMGI was registered G-WNCH on 15/10/08 and has moved to Fairoaks to be operated by Winch Air.

NOTE 8 - R-22 G-FOGY was based here between May and the second week in October. It hasn't come back since.

NOTE 9 - PA38 G-BOLF crashed into the sea near Whitby on the evening of Friday 17th Oct 08 sadly killing the pilot, further info here.

NOTE 10 - C152 G-GFID returned following a loan spell here (16/10 - 22/12) while G-GFIB was on maintenance.

NOTE 11 - EC35 G-NEAU departed at the end of December to Newcastle and exchanged with their EC35 G-NESV.

NOTE 12 - P28A G-SUZN was operating from St George's new Newcastle base, but returned on 20/01/09, the aircraft based at Newcastle.

NOTE 13-  C421 N75FW transferred ownership from Northern Aviation to Ward Bros. The aircraft moved out 29/11/08 to Newcastle, was for sale at Leeds.

NOTE 14 - R-44 G-WYSP has moved on and is now registered in Canada as of 16/02/09 taken up C-FXRQ.

NOTE 15 - BE20 G-ONAL has been sold 23/02/09 to Unity Aviation of The Isle of Man.

NOTE 16 - C150 G-ATRM has moved out to Fishburn, came back early 2010 but moved out again 13 May 2010

NOTE 17 - P28A G-SOBI has been sold and is now based at Sandtoft.

NOTE 18 - AC14 G-ZIPA and PA38 G-EORG have moved out to Fishburn early 2009 but may visit from time to time.

NOTE 19 - BE20 G-BVMA no longer operated with the demise of Northern Aviation, has since returned & now operated by Dragonfly Aviation Ltd.

NOTE 20 - C152 G-GFIB may have been exchanged for G-GFID, as G-GFIB was seen at Booker on 16/06/09.

NOTE 21 - C152 G-GFIC may have been exchanged for G-GFID at the end of June 09 but swapped again on 02/08/09.

NOTE 22 - C152 G-GFIB arrived on 06/09/09 and replaced G-GFID.

NOTE 23 - EXPL G-GNAA returned to PAS. Lease ended. Temp relocation of G-WAAN to DTVA from Otterburn, this ended Nov 09.

NOTE 24 - R-22 G-SIMS was sold in August 2009 to CDS Aviation of Kettering, Northants.

NOTE 25 - GA-7 G-BLHR arrived 16/06/08, CofA expired 13/04/09 seems to be stored WFU at Full Sutton last noted 11/07/09. Returned 18/01/10.

NOTE 26 - C152 G-BKWY the first of the Disley/CFS fleet to leave, was noted at Fishburn 18/11/09. Sold to Northumbria Flying School.

NOTE 27 - P28A G-BNTD another of the ex Disley/CFS fleet to leave, departed on 09/12/09, ret on 29/12/09, bought by Phil Thompson (Cleveland Flight Training).

NOTE 28 - C172 G-OPFT one of the ex Disley/CFS fleet left to a pvt site nr Cambridge 09/12/09. Sold to Just Plane Trading 18/12/09

NOTE 29 - P28R G-BMNL arrived 20/09/09 but following the demise of Disley/CFS it left early December.

NOTE 30 - C152 G-BHFC one of the ex Disley/CFS fleet was noted at Bagby in November on maintenance. Bought by Phil Thompson (Cleveland Flight Training).

NOTE 31 - C152 G-BPHT one of the Disley/CFS fleet, left sometime in Dec 09. Now registered to a Clive London, of Bushey.

NOTE 32 - YK52 G-YYAK is for sale & is not returning.

NOTE 33 - P28A G-GALA moved out w/c 15/02/10 to Blackpool.

NOTE 34 - GA-7 G-BLHR moved out early 2010 to Sherburn in Elmet.

NOTE 35 - C150 G-EJMG moved out to Fishburn early 2010.

NOTE 36 - P28T G-BPXJ is now a resident at Bagby.

NOTE 37 - G-HEMS AS65 was operating for GNAA it departed here on 11th April 2010.

NOTE 38 - BE20 G-BVMA of Dragonfly Aviation is no longer based here.

At the start of November 2009 Disley / Cleveland Flying School had ceased trading - all of the aircraft have left and disposed of as detailed above.
