Historic Military Movements   Compiled by Ian McMaster

This section provides a further expansion of the website’s historical movements and is intended to summarise the military aircraft that have visited RAF Middleton-St-George / Teesside Airport & Durham Tees Valley Airport. (1941 – Current).

Similar to other sections on our website, it will be expanded over a period of time and its quality will be enhanced the more we receive contributions from enthusiasts within the area and ex locals who now live away from the area.

If you can supply any corrections or additional information for military visitors during the above period in particularly for the period 1946 – 1964 covering either based RAF aircraft or visiting aircraft we would be most grateful to here from you.

In the coming months we hope to be able to add further years as and when time permits.

So here’s the challenge, ….. sift through those old notebooks in your attic and send in any contributions you have.

Ian McMaster
