Resident Seneca G-CLUE departed at 1253 but returned shortly after with an undercarriage problem, aircraft did a flyby of the tower to check the state of the wheels (1330). The aircraft was showing wheels down but visual inspection showed no gear down, attempted to land with an emergency extension of the gear at 1339. The left hand undercarriage leg collapsed on landing, all persons on board were OK. The airport was closed and re-opened at 1500 when photo's had been taken and the aircraft removed see pic 1   pic2.
